Sneakers S5

After eyeing the shoe and Kuvet as a company for a while, it was time to order something and give it a try. Since I was looking for something low-profile, the updated S1 sneaker with the black sole looked like the perfect fit.

Despite ordering during a busy season (start of the year), the shoes arrived quickly, and from the first moment I touched them, I was impressed.

The thoughtful packaging included an info pamphlet describing the manufacturing process as well as some wear and care instructions on how to make your shoes last longer.

I held out on writing a review since I wanted to wear and experience the shoes before coming to a conclusion, and as you can see in the pictures, they’ve seen some wear but still look amazing.

They’ve become a staple in my shoe rotation and seem to fit every occasion. The silhouette is iconic, and you might get some interested looks from people trying to figure out what type of “samba” you’re wearing.

Like any handmade shoe, you might see some imperfections on it, but I’m happy to report that my pair was absolutely flawless. The moment you first step into them, the insole feels comfortable and grippy enough to offer a secure fit. At first, the shoe might feel a bit flat because of the cork filler, but after a couple of wears, you get a truly custom fit underfoot and the soft leather also molds to your foot. The laces are thin but grippy and don’t put any lace pressure when you tie the shoes. Even though I’m not a fan of suede leather because it usually stains easily, I can happily report that the details on the heel and toe remain perfect even after experiencing A LOT of rain. I’m sure the stitched sole will hold for a lifetime as well, and the subtle Kuvet logo on the side of the sole is a nice touch.

Overall, the shoe is fit for any occasion and the customer service is top-notch. At first, I was unsure about the sizing, but thanks to Ema, I settled on 44 (usually wear 45 in casual and sports shoes).

Jako lagane, mekane i udobne patike. Pri narudzbi obavezno pratiti tablicu za velicine, jer su brojevi drugaciji od sportskih brendvoa kao Adidas, Nike itd.

Jako strpljiva korisnicka sluzba mi je pomogla odabrati ispravnu velicinu i cipele odlicno odgovaraju 👍👍

Bio sam skeptican i narucio sam samo jedan par.. duzina cekanja je bila malo duza ali cim sam ih dobio pozelio sam naruciti ih i u drugoj boji :D
